It includes parts such as interlocking lock system. It is slightly more expensive than other removable prostheses. The strength of the teeth that will support such a prosthesis should also be evaluated. Otherwise, this type of prosthesis may not be made.

Dentures should be removed and brushed after each meal.
Cleaning should be done using special brushes and soap produced for prostheses. Invisible scratches occur on dentures brushed with toothpaste. It loses the denture polish (slippery surface feature). Bacteria cling to these areas cause discoloration and bad odor in the prosthesis.
It has been proven that bacteria on the prosthesis are not removed by simply washing the prosthesis under water by hand.
Never use bleach, dishwashing and laundry detergent cleaning products for denture cleaning. These products spoil the structure and color of the prosthesis and are harmful to the general health of the person.
You can get cleaning tablets specially produced for dentures from pharmacies. These tablets are dissolved in a glass of water and kept by placing a prosthesis inside. This process can be done several times a week.
It is not enough to simply clean the prosthesis. You should also clean the soft tissues and teeth in your mouth with a soft brush.
When you remove your prosthesis, keep it in a container filled with water.

If you neglect the daily cleaning of your prosthesis:

The average life of your prosthesis is 3 years. Since your oral tissues will change over time, the harmony of your prostheses will also deteriorate. The prosthesis may become abundant. After getting used to the prostheses, a check-up should be done every 6 months. If there is a change or abnormality in your tissues, it would be appropriate for the physician to take precautions or treat it early.
Prostheses should not remain in the mouth permanently. Preferably at night, the dentures should be removed and the oral tissues should be rested.
Getting used to prostheses takes time. This habituation period is 1-2 months. The person should be determined to accept and use the prosthesis. He should try to persevere. You should definitely go to the dentist within the first 24-48 hours after the denture is placed.
